Re: SouthStSeaport Historic area: the museum; the ships; the historic buildings including the last remaining components of the Fulton Fish Market -New Market and Tin buildings - are full of New York's history, and give a real feel for earlier times.
Provide restrooms and water fountains at all outdoor and waterfront public program sites. Lack of basic public sanitation is an extremely limiting factor for cultural programs outdoors and on piers.
Don't forget the waterfront is a public cultural space too! Waterfront nonprofits need the same supports detailed here to connect the public with the heritage of our harbor, the reason the city is here, that draws diversity to our shores.
